This acrylic sculpture was handmade in Aalst, in an edition of 10.

As a visual artist, Lieze typically creates sculptures that involve the public in different ways. Sometimes people become the model; in other projects, they get to move the sculptures through the city and choose a new place for them.
Treasure box gives people a special role once again: this time, people choose what’s on display. Unlike her other projects, treasure box isn’t a brief encounter in public space, but an artwork you can keep close forever.
